I feel great

I have sinus pressure pretty bad today. I put an ice cube on the bridge of my nose, sneezed a few times, I took a hot shower, I took a few aspirn. I'm good.

I'm writing a little piece on crossover music in the 1970s.
I'm not writing that I am writing this.

Fucking distractions.

I show my anger towards the mariachi player, mood-swings and hyper-sensitivity to smells.
I deep clean the bathroom with Clorox bleach and drink a diet pepsi, on special occasions only.

february

February. That doesn't roll off my tongue. So, what have I been up to? baths galore. up and down with love and ready for spring. I saw a cardinal this morning. hooray for eucalyptus bath salts, good for sinus pressure.

Keeping the sinus pressure in check, all the other wrecks insist on getting in my way. God bless it.

Something that feels good

Is when a finger traces lines on your face. Or when a person checks your expression after saying something funny. Being challenged to have courage feels good, if I'm in the mood.

On one side

my sinus pressure generally stays on one side of my nose, the pressure is very very intense and lately I feel the pain all the way to my teeth. I know the climate is dry and that this contributes, I need a humidifier among other things.

I am thinking a lot about loyalty these days.

Sick

I got home from work last night, after one of the longest work weeks I can remember and immediately felt feverish and flu-like. All day I had intense sinus pressure, I knew something was up. In the cab I felt drunk, as soon as I stepped into the house the symptoms hit like a ton of bricks.

So I slept and rested. I'm not back to normal.

I love baths so much.
